Conditions of Use

These Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions made with Advanced Automotion (AAM) whether they are placed through AdvancedAutomotion.com or with one of our Sales Associates via email, or phone call.  By completing your transaction you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions. Customers placing their order through AdvancedAutomotion.com are required to electronically accept these Term and Conditions to complete the sale.  Customers placing orders over the phone, through email, or by using the AdvancedAutomotion.com collections page will either accept these Terms and Conditions verbally or by reading an electronic version, depending on the choice of the customer. Communications from the AdvancedAutomotion Sales and Customer Service Team in the form of Quote Emails or Order Confirmation Invoice Emails have a link to this page for review.  These Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notice, so please read them in their entirety prior to each order you place with us.


Returns, Cancellations, and Exchanges on AdvancedAutomotion Products

IMPORTANT! IF YOU USED THE FREE SHIPPING METHOD WHEN YOU ORDERED: The actual cost of shipping will be deducted from the refund/credit/exchange amount for items that are returned, cancelled or exchanged.

Our goal at AdvancedAutomotion (AAM) is to make sure that the customer is completely satisfied with the items(s) that they ordered. All orders placed on AdvancedAutomotion.com or over the phone with our Sales and Customer Service Associates are subject to the following policies explained below.

WHAT TO DO FIRST: Email or call AAM with any concerns or questions to see if we can help you in your specific situation without having to return, cancel or exchange item(s). Read all the policies below, fill out an RMA Request and then email AAM to begin the RMA process. Please reference your invoice # in the subject line.

RETURNS: Returns for regularly stocked items are accepted within 30 days of receipt of the item(s). 
Receipt of item is determined by the delivery date specified by the shipping company used, or the date the item is picked up by the customer. The item in question must be shipped prior to the expiration of 30 days, and received by AdvancedAutomotion within 14 days of shipment date. Due to the cost of processing returns, AAM charges a 20% restocking fee, or $50 whichever is greater. Items which are special ordered, custom made, invoiced as scrap, or cores are not returnable. Customers are responsible for the any and all return costs associated with returning the item, including shipping cost, freight charges, delivery fees, loading fees, customs duties, carriage costs, insurance costs, associated taxes and duties, demurage fees, and any other charges not listed. If items are marked return to sender, cost associated with that action will be deducted from the refund. Under no circumstances will refunds be issued for items that have been installed, damaged, altered, abused, altered, or modified. Under no circumstances will refunds be issued if the time constrainst mentioned earlier are not met.

EXCHANGES: Within 45 calendar days of the date of receipt of your item(s), we offer exchanges for any reason. The date of receipt is the delivered date provided by the shipping or freight company your item was delivered by. ALL exchanged items are subject to limitations listed below and all RMA requirements listed above. Customers are responsible for the any and all return costs associated with sendign the item for exchange, including shipping cost, freight charges, delivery fees, loading fees, customs duties, carriage costs, insurance costs, associated taxes and duties, demurage fees, and any other charges not listed. Please contact a Sales and Customer Service Associate before sending anything back to AAM. (See above under WHAT TO DO FIRST and RMA REQUEST REQUIRED see below …)

CANCELLATIONS: Orders maybe cancelled for any reason prior to the shipment date. An order cancellation fee of 20% or $50.00 whichever is greater may be applied. If the customer requests to cancel the order after it has shipped, then the return conditions will apply. 

REFUSED SHIPMENTS OR RETURNED SHIPMENTS: Any refused shipments sent back to AAM does not constitute the right to a refund, exchange or credit. Any returned shipments due to ANY addressing issues caused by addresses provided by the customer will result in any additional shipping fees being the responsibility of the customer. It is the responsibility of the customer to make all arrangements with AAM for refused shipments as per our policies in this section. Customer will be charged freight expenses associated with the refused shipment.

Refund methods: Refunds will be issued to the same payment method as the original payment was made. Any costs associated with processing the refund (example: wire fees, transfer fees, currenct conversion fees etc) will be deducted from the refund amounts. 

NOTE FOR ALL RETURNS: No refunds, or exchanges on any electrical or electronic components (sensors, switches, injectors, ECUs, etc.). No cancellations, refunds, or exchanges on special order items or custom order or made item(s) or group-buy orders are accepted. All item(s) shipped back to AAM by the customer need to be insured (in case of loss or damage) and we recommend the customer to get a tracking number to track the shipment. AAM is not responsible or liable for ANY damage caused to parts being returned while in transit due to the following but not limited to: Poor packaging, damage not covered for any reason by shipping company, damage caused during packaging process. It is the customer’s responsibility that any item(s) returned to AAM must be in new, uninstalled, and resalable condition with no damage, alteration, or modification. Any insurance claims due to damage caused in transit is the responsibility of the customer and no RMA will be processed until parts are received in new resalable condition or AAM is paid out by an insurance claim filed by the customer.


AAM's RMA process is as follows:

If you have an order or item(s) that is eligible for return as per AdvancedAutomotion’s Conditions of Use, you will need to create an RMA by contacting a sales associate. RMA mst be clearly marked on the returned item's box or container. DO NOT SHIP UNTIL RMA IS PROVIDED.

Your Order number must be visible on the outside of the package to allow for proper processing. Failure to follow the procedure above may result in a loss of product or delay your refund. ANY return sent to AAM without an RMA Packing Slip will not be processed. All authorized return merchandise must be a new, unused, and in its original as received packaging, and must also include all hardware, documentation, and anything originally included with the item.
