Advanced Automotion Gearbox and Differential
LIMITED WARRANTY
This warranty shall apply to all manual transmissions sold, unless the printed sales receipt
from Advanced Automotion indicates otherwise. Advanced Automotion warrants that the
product covered by this warranty shall be free of defects in material or workmanship as
performed by the manufacturer and that it will replace, repair, or refund at its sole option,
any gearbox or differential supplied by Advanced Automotion which is defective in
material or workmanship for a period of one year from date of delivery, covering
parts only (no labor, taxes, shipping, or incidental charges will be honored)
WARRANTY REQUIREMENTS
Failure to comply with the requirements stated herein immediately terminates this
warranty.
- Either Motul Gear 300, Fuchs Sinto Fluid, or Volkswagen G50 Synthetic transmission
fluid must be added to proper OEM specified level. Usage of non approved may
void warranty.Any questions concerning transmission fluid should be brought to the attention of
Advanced Automotion.
- New clutch assemblies must be installed and properly adjusted
Professional mechanic must install transmission and clutch assembly properly.This includes proper
“SAC” (self adjusting clutch) ring positioning and proper shift lever adjustment as described in the factory service manual.
- The vehicle manufacturers maintenance schedule must be adhered to (fluid changes, etc). These services are the vehicle
owners financial responsibility. You may be required to furnish proof of these services when filing a claim with Advanced Automotion.
In addition to the factory service recommendations, an oil change must be performed between the first 500-1,000 miles of use and then changed at 50,000 mile intervals.
- Disassembling the transmission or removing any part of the transmission, will null and void this warranty. No transmissions will be accepted for warranty if not returned intact. Any evidence of tampering,dismantling, or modifying the transmission
without express consent from Advanced Automotion will void the warranty.
Without exception, ALL alleged defective parts must be returned to AdvancedAutomotion,or no warranty claim for the repair/replacement of said parts will be honored.
Any claims for damaged transmission upon delivery, are to be made directly to the carrier. Advanced Automotion does not warranty damages occured during shipping. Under
NO circumstances is Advanced Automotion responsible for shipping costs for any reason.
NO EXCEPTIONS.
Advanced Automotion is not responsible for removal or installation cost, towing charges,
down time of vehicle, nor are we responsible for linkage connections, cable connectors or
shipping errors of the correct transmission for your vehicle.
Upon placement of order, customer accepts all terms and conditions of this limited
warranty. Installation of this product constitutes further acceptance of the terms of this
limited warranty. If you are not satisfied with this limited warranty and terms, please
return the product for a refund prior to installation. All parts, including transmissions, are
subject to a 20% restocking fee plus all shipping costs.
IMPORTANT WARRANTY INFORMATION
Warranty based on normal driving conditions. This is not a guarantee against all hazards
or failures. This warranty covers manufacturing defects only. Damage resulting from
abuse, misuse, neglect, incorrect or malfunctioning vehicle components other than parts supplied by
Advanced Automotion shall not be covered by this warranty and immediately terminates
the remainder of this warranty, including any warranty on subsequent replacements.
Damage to a manual transmission caused by, among other things, lack of or improper
type of lubricant, differentials, drive-shafts, axles, clutch components, improper shifter or
clutch adjustment, pilot bearing(s), or crankshaft thrust bearings constitutes abuse. Any
product that is used for racing or competition shall have no warranty whatsoever. This
warranty does not provide reimbursement for any fluids, such as synthetic gear oil.
Authorized repair to or replacement of the original product does not extend the warranty.
The original warranty period, effective when the first product was first received, shall
apply. Damage due to towing or other similar conditions are not covered by this warranty. This
warranty does not cover rental cars, towing, meals, lost wages, or any other expense
incurred due to loss of use of a vehicle. Advanced Automotion shall not be responsible
for any incidental or consequential damages, including any item(s) potentially damaged
should the product fail, such as flywheels, pilot bearings, clutch components, driveshafts,
etc.
There are no warranties that extend beyond the description herein. All other warranties
express or implied, including but not limited to, all warranties of merchantability and
fitness for a particular purpose are hereby disclaimed and excluded by Advanced
Automotion.
Advanced Automotion transfers only such title or rights as it has in the goods.
No statement or undertaking whether a condition, warranty, or otherwise is given by
registered or protected designs, inventions or equipment or trademark or copyright
